Did you know, that the Hustler boats of Billy Martin, with the ridge in front of him on the deck, were actually Magnum hulls and a borrowed Formula decks?

Magnum had no deck mold for a hull that size.

Nope, didn't know that. You wouldn't have a photo of one would you? How did they go about borrowing the decks from Formula?

They just went down the street at them time and Dick Genth who was running Formula at the time simply sold them one of his race decks.

Here is a Formula race boat photo, you can tell right away.

The Magnum, at that size was never a popular seller, so they never built a deck for it. I think only about 5 boats were ever made.

Do you have any photos of the boat called Mamamaritime. 1967.

It was an aluminium boat with a swirled finish.
Thanks,
pat W

These are from the staggering Graham Stevens collection.

If you use the search engine in the gallery, you'd be amazed what you'll find. there's over 2000 pics from Graham alone, and hundreds of videos.

It could be that one,#250. It had big block mustang motors. Does it still exist?
