The final race of the season saw a win for Nicolini in Qatar 95. They took the lead after a lap and a half overtaking both Victory boats after starting in 4th position. Curtis in Q96 had continued bad luck retiring with prop damage early on after leading the race.
Jotun was lying second when a lost prop forced it out of the race and Maritimo had a scary moment with a spin out resulting in a damaged boat but fortunately,a mostly undamaged crew.
