Does this boat have your drives also?

Not yet.......:D It is still running the Arneson plugs. We had to prove our transmissions first. One step at a time.

Our new drive would make a big change to the boat just like the multi-speeds.

Whats your new drive like

It is a new stern/surface drive that I have been working on for the last couple of years. I will post some pics here from the first test next week.

It is part of an engine/multispeed/drive package that we are working on.

Here she is :D WDP (Weismann Dual Prop) Initial 6hrs testing have been uneventful besides loosing a wheel bearing on the trailer. We also did not have power steering because someone put the helm pressure hose on the pressure guage port of the Vickers pump. With that sorted out we are going to have a little more fun testing.

That looks beautifully engineered. Look forward to further test results.

Thanks,

It is a full surfacing stern drive, I attatched a video link to show some of the testing. This shot was interesting because you could see the second prop thrust point behind the first one in the corners.

I can't wait to run it on the twin. We can change the rotation of the front and the rear prop and the ratio between them. It will be interesting on the twin to see what works the best inboard rotation on the front props out rear or visa versa.

Congrat's. Who made the front propeller? Looks sortof like a Volvo hub.

That was part of the design was to use a bravo or volvo type prop, knock the inside out and spline it to fit. It was an easy way to get to some props.

This one however is billet steel and 19 inch in diameter and 41 pitch.:D
