Finally gave the boat a little test last week. Ran well with the slight problem of a leaking fuel tank. Oh well, just a small matter removing half the interior, cutting out the cockpit sole and installing another one!
Please forgive the boring video but at least it shows the boat finally got wet.

The work is being done at Sea Ray of Richmond. They did the engine rebuild too. The fellow cutting my boat up is David Aaron who does excellent work and is also a Mercruiser master mechanic.

The seam at the back was leaking, the tank was corroding and the underside was badly pitted.

Hey Ben! Just catching up on you tank change. How is it going? Just looking at one of the pics of the tank and noticed your pick up tube. Just upgraded the one in my boat to keep from starving the new motor. Call me sometime if you get a chance. 4842565004.

Here is a vid of the boat running on the hose with the new motor. Waiting on some pieces this week to finish plumbing the oil/ps cooler. Dart block based 406. Came off of the dyno a 594 hp. A little over kill, but the price was right and the parts list is almost bullet proof. Now I need a few spare drives.

Yikes, a 600 hp 22! That should be a bit quick.
Will give you a call in the next couple of days.
