Just had a look at the P1 website and they don't mention any changes so no help there.
Perhaps Dragon knows what's going on.

The WOP article is not strictly correct. Martin McDonald was there but Nathan Knight was ill, so Ivan Schouker stood in for him.
As far as they were willing to say, Nathan Knight will remain on the board of KBL (P1), but they are looking for a new CEO. The other role advertised as I understrood it was Operations Director, the role previously done by Martin McDonald, so I assume as Martin is still with KBL, that he is doing a different role in 2007.
So, no chaos, just a re-structure :)

Latest News > POWERBOAT P1 HOPES TO SUCCEED WHERE OTHER HAVE FAILED
1st February - Poole, UK - There was obviously much speculation and rumours circulating, when an advertisment in the 'Situations Vacant' section appeared of a national UK newspaper . The employment on offer was for a CEO and Marketing Director of Powerboat P1's promoting company KBL. We wondered if the current CEO Natham Knight had been sacked but in reality that could not be farther from the truth. Knight lives in Belgium and has a young family while the administration of Powerboat P1 is in London. In a relativally short space of time Powerboat P1 has grown and with it, the costs. KBL are seeking senior management who can take the business forward and transform it into a profit making enterprise. Some might say a miracle worker is required as it's common knowledge that it's almost impossible to make money out of powerboat racing. However with television exposure of a very high calibre becoming more readily available, there should be no reason why the sport cannot produce a profit. Powerboat P1 is a very spectacular sector of our sport yet it does not come under the UIM's racing division but Navigation and Pleasure. While it's not practical to charge spectators an entry fee to each event, America Cup yachting, Round the World Yacht races and the Dakkar Rally all manage to generate substantial investment presumably on the strength of media exposure.
