That is correct, they dropped some Mercury 1200's and are ironing out the gremlins.

I wonder how much murcury paid for that??? Ho wmuch HP can they get up to with a pulley change and race fuel?

They are the mercury 1200's, this was the first race they have had them in the boat. Having the Mercury Support team there and the Mercury truck has kept a lot of teams in the game!

Merc gave them free engines to use.

Another attempt by Mercury to buy the market. Sterling cannot afford to give away free engines to gain market share.

But, when there are Sterling engines in the boat there are Sterling employees there servicing the account and most of the time Mike D'anniballe is there too servicing the customers.

No one seems to mention that though.:rolleyes:
