It was going to be demolished anyway. It seemed suspicous to me as smoke started coming out a few people were like oh well, we are tearing it down anyway.

Powerboat mag had a shot of Lavey almost barrellrolling on its port side. Canada Thrust broke a drive(#6 behind a 2000hp turbine DUH). Congrats to Gino and Larry for bringing it home! This had to be one of the great highlights of Larry Goldman's racing career, but Gino must have been beside himself with joy.
