Kevin Brown was the guy who ran the highly successful Sarasota Offshore Powerboat event and was also Race Director of the SBI circuit. In a tribute to Kevin, John Carbonell, President of Super Boat International says, "Kevin has given so much to our sport of Offshore Racing and the Suncoast Foundation over the past 24 years and the Sarasota Event will be in his honour. Britain's Chris Witty recently raced in the US and says "I only came to know him recently and liked him immensely. He was very helpful and supportive of us Brits racing over there and was very fair in his role. He was a truly nice guy who will be sadly missed.
