Just wanted to share a rare piece of history with everyone.....This is a film of Don racing without his helmet in his 32 foot Cary.

Everyone has seen the still photo of this race, but we have the entire race on color film, where he starts off with the helmet on and then later, shows him with it off.

A small clip has been put up on the new banana boat co site in the section called..."Should I buy a banana?"

That is out of context too.

It was a rough race and there is a shot in the film that shows Don and Bobby Rautboard with his 32 Bertram running hard in some good water....I think that Don was just taking it easy here and as you can see wiping his face from the spray.

Just before this you can see one of his crew look back for a long time as if to see if he could find anyone that was even near them.
