A unique craft is up for sale Thunderbolt 2 Tommy Sopwith's aborted entry for the 62 Cowes Torquay. She proved troublesome with her 3 Crusader Layout and did not reach the anticipated speeds plus other bugs . Mr T S withdrew from the contract with Bruce Campbell and the hull was converted to a cruiser.
Joe Bezzina in Malta is putting her on the market at $20,000.00 with poss free delivery BUT he would like her to go to a good home ,an enthusiast who will look after this unique craft.
Maybe someone is brave enough to return her to the original design, I would love to take her on but THUNDERBOLT 1 has eaten all my cash!
We have original pics of her in 62 if it happens !

hull prior to fit out, helm was right aft similar to BLUE MOPPIE ,Cabin area was up front and from film footage seen was accessed by hatches.
