The seller is saying that this important piece of offshore history could easily be converted into a center console or sold on as scrap! :eek:

Please don't let this happen.

For a second I thought this was going to be the Reefer Racing Thunderbird! But if anyone does have the money please save this - it would be such a sorry shame if it was to end up being scrapped or modified.

If any one wants to take a look at some pictures as it is now ,go to offshoreonly.com I started a tread under the classic offshore forum. I am staring to learn a lot about this boat and it's history. If you have any info please let me know, I will be checking this site also.

Here are some more of the photos of the birth. This will be in the MARITIME section.

We are going to start specific new sections, for each boat manufacturer on HORBA. www.historicraceboats.com

The first will be Donzi and it will be up by year end. It will have as much content as we have, old factory photos, early boat construction, like these photos, the land on NE 188th st when nothing was there, etc etc.
