Just an idea.

Post what you think is the best picture you have seen in the last month. It can basically be anything so long as it has taken place on or around the water.

It doesn't have to have been taken in the last month but rather any pic you have seen or taken yourself in the last month. The only thing I would ask is that it is not a picture of your own or your team's boat.

Perhaps I could ask ForTwo to post a picture from the Zeebrugge race of a certain SuperSport boat to get us started. I think he will know the one I mean. :D

Umm, maybe a little...like a few engine mounts :eek: It was an 'interesting' experience! :rolleyes: Not aiming to do that again any time soon....well not unless we are auditioning for the Red Arrows that is!

That's Interesting, I had heard that the RYA's Gary Manchester had bought that boat. Obviously not!

Do you know what the Malteasers are going to run this year? a 41 maybe.

Picture was taken by my @ the first Belgian Poker Run last month.

My mate Luc@s was in the brand new Cigarette '39 Top Gun Unlimited as photographer, I was following behind in a safetyboat, also for some pictures of the event.

In the first hour of the race the Cigarette probably made a "hook" where the river the Scheldt made a sudden corner.

6 people went overboard and were injured from minor to severely, the Cigarette crashed on the boarder of the river.

For me, following behind it was also quiet a shock knowing that my best friend was on board. Everybody was taken out of the water by the rescue crews and competing boats, and transported with several ambulances to different hospitals.

Luc had to recover in the hospital from a kidney contusion and the mental pain from all the lost camera equipement....

Today everybody is back at home and the Cigarette is being repaired.

The day before our crash there was also an issue with a F1 cat.

As you can see on the picture, the steering was broken, pushing the cat into the boarder...

That was a Robinson as well, but an R22 if I remember correctly - it ruined my day as we had to go back to the pits after they red flagged it all before we even got to the muster area!

I may be talking out of my ass here but - is it me or are a lot of heli accidents Robinson R22's? Damned if I'd be happy to go up in one!

I flew one for a first lesson for my 40th birthday, great fun, I think that helicopters have a bad wrap because when they crash they do it in style.

There must be a hell of a lot of R22's out there so they will have the most accidents!
