I think it was protesters at this weeks G8 Summit.

Right you are. The banner on the rib says "G8 act now."

Very impressive German patrol boat. Love it when he puts on the brakes so you have to assume it's a water jet.

Wonder who the builder was? I'd suspect from the look of it Vosper-Thorneycraft perhaps?

Just a thought, perhaps Dragon and the Missus could employ that boat, if they are over the average P1 speed limit ...wack!!!

I did actually have to "pull a stunt" like that in a race once.

Not proud of it, but here goes.

Last race of the season. Going for the championship.

I had a very heavy wooden cat, which against the wind would fly, but once I lost the wind any light weight mono could get past me.

Last turn mark of the race and season running back up to Bournemouth pier I am in second place, but I know the monohull 10 yards behind me, will get me after the buoy, once we lose the wind.

My Father comes over the intercom, "take him out".

We have the racing line, go into the buoy, but as I do it, I turn the wheel right, we make contact - Impact!

Competitor bounces off us at least 20 yards.

We have an easy run to the finish line, and secure the national championship.

We get back to Race Control and put in a protest for dangerous driving against our competitor (we had the racing line). He counter protests, but doesn't win.

Not a great story – but at least its honest!

It's hard to imagine that the guy in the other boat was actualy smaller than you, but I imagine he must have been for you to get away with such twatish move.

I'm speechless!
