Absolutely nothing to do with high performance but these have to be some of the most original, quirky, ugly, individualistic (choose your own adjective) fiberglass boats ever built.

What do you think?

Some very novel designs, some I think look pretty good.

I raced against the first Batboat to run in UK water back in 1995.

It was in a 3 heat 1.3 litre World Championship held at Hull.

All 3 races were run in flat water.

I could not believe just how fast that boat was! We were running in a catamaran, ideally suited to the weather conditions, and this thing was running along side us!
