Finally had a day off from work when the weather was great and the tides were right to get my boat out of the cove where it's kept.

Opened the throttles on the poor old thing and I heard something that didn't sound promising - clang!

Hope the ancient Evinrude still has some life in it. AAAAAARRGGHHHH! :mad:

One remanufactured powerhead later and it seems there is still life in the old girl!

Looks great! Excuse my ignorance, but why do you not use a "tie bar" between the two motors?

The tie bar (if you can call it that) was just out of frame in the video. It's the front of the engines. The boat is not fast enough to merit a real one :D
